Twenty year Joe Milligan is December's Vikings Coltishall Red Lion Player of the Month. The centre only joined in October but has already established himself as a firm crowd favourite, scoring eleven tries, many from deep, in nine matches, including four against Diss. "Joe's settled in really well, trains hard and keeps improving," said Head of Rugby Johnny Marsters. "He's a deceptively strong runner who can both break tackles and glide past defenders; a strong defender too."
From Attleborough, Joe began playing rugby in the Minis at Wymondham aged six. Educated at Langley School he was in the Leicester Tigers Academy for two years whilst in the sixth form, and is now in the first year of an Economics & Finance degree at the UEA. He commented, "I'd like to thank the players, management and supporters at North Walsham for making me so welcome. It's a great atmosphere and I'm very happy there."
